He questioned, his interest heightening. Cal had never shown much thought or care for a women as herself. He was a man of power, fueling his own rank through other males as himself. BUT his eyes trained on her small frame, arms folding neatly behind his back as he stood.

The redhead flickered up her eyes, giving a shake of her head in response, lips parting slightly as a crimson brow cocked a bit. “ – What, and not give him any sort of thanks for SAVING ME? I think what you invited was perfect, unless you think a twenty is really all I’m worth.” It was rare she played on anything to gain his appeal, more because she didn’t necessarily care for it. As for the moment, she simply wanted him GONE. And to top off her request she laced a small smile onto her angelic face – a fraud, again, but still a smile.

A twenty was quite worth his due, though his undying desire to hold Rose dear had caused Cal to offer a greater prize. To be seated with high class, uncover their world, was surely a rather unthinkable grant. OH how good Cal had been.

Eyes rose as he spoke, rolling slightly upon sight. She was NEVER happy within his range, a rather irritating presences she grew to become.
