So, given that I’m feeling really inspired by ISWM and Markiplier as a whole, especially the stream last night where he talks about anyone being able to do what he has done, and I’m getting a lot of traffic on my page as a whole rn due to ISWM, I wanted to sort of take the opportunity to do a self promo not self promo because it’s inspiration-based?? Idk fhsbsbfb

I was really inspired to start up youtube again and my goal is to get enough of a following to start playing out lore that I have written and sort of make my own tiny version of the amazing work Mark has done. I recently found out that the fandom is calling him "Murdock" and I love that. So. Much.

i think the reason mcr resonates so deeply on an emotional level to the extent that it has been able to save lives is because their “inspirational” messages are never 100% happy and sugarcoated. thinking of “get up coward” but also of famous last words and how “i am not afraid to keep on living” only comes after lyrics like “i’m incomplete” / “i get so weak.” these are not nice messages necessarily. they’re not saying “you can do it” in the well-meaning but ineffective way people who don’t really understand do. they recognize that in order to actually inspire someone to overcome their individual pain they have to first show that they understand the darkest depths of it. they are saying “i recognize every miserable thought you’ve had because i had them too. i still have them. they’ll never go away forever. but you still have to get up.” and it’s not a suggestion. it’s a command. they got up, and they’re still here, and if they can do it so can you. so will you.

Murderplier Is Murdock

So, I’ve seen on tumblr floating the idea of calling Murderplier aka this bad boy right here

Murdock. I, personally, loved this for two reasons. It has the word Mur in it, as in Murder, Murderplier etc, and also Ock, as in Dock Ock from the other MCU (Marvel) because the two characters look very similar, most notably in their glasses. HOWEVER. In doing a rp recently I made even MORE connections for why this is the perfect name for our artistic friend here. A. It is a very uncommon name, in fact, the SSA doesn’t even have the name registered, just like how our buddy here if off grid laying low as a murderer. 

B. One of my personal favorites which was pointed out to me, in Who Killed Markiplier, when they’re all going around saying “Murder” to summon the lightning, Wilford Warfstache uses the name as a test to see if the lightning strikes. Kinda cool cause he’s yknow, a murderer! And it’s a fun little connection between the two that can lead to some cool headcanons if you think about it.

C. I just found this one out which pushed me to make the post.. the actual definition of the name Murdock. Is HELLA ironic for our boy here. It’s literally the perfect opposite.

And so, these are my reasons why I implore the Markiplier fandom to spread the Murdock love and keep dubbing this boy- Murdock.

Well, no. B was probably what you hoped for, but, A was true. The red and blue, the voice, I think that weighs out what shoes he decided on. After all Dark’s outfit has changed before lol. I still find it funny he just.. didn’t have any other shoes.

Agent Crank headcanons -

•Agent Crank’s full name is Henri Crank

Henri is pronounce ( Own - ree )

•Crank is Cajun French and is originally from New Orleans ( yes I did take the Bonjour joke and run with it ), he has a bit of an accent that comes out more when he is upset

•His best friend is Agent Smiles, Bernard Smiles

•He is often shoved around and bullied by his coworkers and boss for his shorter stature and gentle nature, but he knows how to kick ass when it’s needed

•Crank specializes in keeping track of high risk prisoners from Happy Trails, because of this he often visits and knows many of the prisoners

•Henri is actually really good friends with Yancy and the two often spend time together when he visits, the two are close

•He is especially proud of Yancy for going for parole and trying to become a better person

•After a horrible accident when he was younger, Henri no longer has a family to go home too, which is why he joined the agency so young

•Henri is always trying to prove himself , mostly to his boss who constantly throws him around and belittles him ( literally and figuratively )

•not many people know his real name as he prefers to go by his title, he feels it gains him more respect, only certain people are allowed to call him by his first name

•And speaking from an ego stand point, Crank would consider his parallel egos ( Blank, Mad Mike, etc. ) as his brothers, he would care about them immensely and see them as family

That’s it for now, I could go into many more headcanons for Agent Crank and Yancy’s relationship alone but I’ll stop for now lol, hope you enjoy !

My Mind Is Flowing Once More With HC’s For A New Special Interest (In Space With Mark HC)

In one of the alternate realities, Old Mark ends up in the same timeline as Stan The Water Man and actually gets to be a funky lil granpy to a kid that oddly enough, reminds him of a friend, the Captain, back when he was out in space. The kid even takes an interest in space too. Stan knows what it's like to wake up out of a coma in a place you know little of, and he's just happy to take in Old Mark and have the extra help raising his little sport.

Angst With Markiplier

Engineer Mark has a constant need to seek validation from others until one day in one of the many infinite realities he comes across Old Mark and receives the same kind of comfort we did, only for Old Mark to tell him that it took him his entire life to learn that it was okay to make mistakes and that he was only truly happy at the end of the universe, and that he wishes he had learned sooner that it's okay. He begs Engineer Mark to learn the lesson sooner than he did, but all Mark takes away from the story of Old Mark and Captain in the diner is that at some point, the Captain left him. He was alone, without the Captain, reliving all his regrets right up until before his death, and he becomes even more paranoid not knowing what mistake or what day will drive the Captain away from him forever. This creates a paradox of grief, Old Mark's warning on serving to reinforce Engineer Mark's fears and insecurities. om "You'll always make mistakes.. you have to." em "But I always wake up, and end up in the same place, over and over AND OVER AGAIN." om "I wish I had learned sooner that it's okay to make mistakes.." em "I wish I had learned sooner that it was all, my fault."

Here’s my takeaways from the 10 year Markiplier anniversary stream.

A: Mark canonized something that the fans loved and supported. Feeds into his whole “you create” thing. We literally made Yancy lore.

B: I am of the personal opinion that Engineer Mark is **not** Actor mark. When Mark said “engineer is not actor but actor is engineer” the context around this is very important. He’s talking about youtube and the art of creation as a whole. I take this quote to mean that like he said earlier, Engineer is not Actor with a capital A mark. Rather, Mark Fishbach, the person, the hooman, is Engineer. He is acting out a story we feed into. He is actor, lowercase a. He is acting Engineer.

C: I am truly deeply inspired by Mark’s words about how anyone can do this, and I am going to retry to keep myself active in creative projects, specifically youtube, ya’ll should do the same. My current goal is to get to 50 views on a video, and get enough traction that I can start fleshing out lore I have planned. Mark has been such a huge inspiration for me and I just.. I want to prove what he said to be true.
