Well good thing I’ll be making us something anyways. — Just like that, Green makes his way to the kitchen already feeling a pound lighter. Routine said if Vio was already pouting, he there weren’t any stray rainy thoughts as of late. Otherwise, he’d already scurried to the safety of his burrito blanket and locked the door behind him.

A couple of minutes after the fire started, Green had two steaming cups of chocolate in his hands. — Here, Vi. You can have your present after. —  and just as always, he remained standing besides the fireplace, ignoring the comfy seat a hair away.

Vio sighs, gaze lingering on Green for a moment before leaving himself to the room. He gathered a couple of blankets-- only the softest, mind you-- to have alongside whatever warm beverages Green was making. At least he was cozy now, with the blankets wrapped around him.

“Thanks,” he says as he gingerly takes the cup of hot chocolate to the couch. With a bit of an amused snort and a small smile, Vio pats the seat next to him, raising the blanket after.

Green waves a small, rectangle-shaped cardboard box around.  — Here I come, all the way to your home to give you a present and you don’t even offer me tea.   — Never you mind he hates tea, of course. It’s the formality of the thing. Or something. With the temperature outside, the brain cells aren’t quite making bridges as they should be.

But fine, since you asked, I’ll graciously forgive you this one time. — One, two steps forward and he faked a punch to Vio’s arm with a grin.  His real objective: Planting his cold, damp hands from the fledging flakes of snow right on Vio’s cheeks.

He only quirks his brows upon seeing the small box, though says nothing as Green continued to whine. He seems to be a bit cranky anyways-- and he couldn’t blame him as it was way too cold outside.

Vio just stands there, watching Green a little bit amused, ‘til he felt an absolute blizzard on his perfectly warm cheeks. He jerks away at the slightest hint of touch, squinting at Green as he tries to salvage warmth by covering his cheeks with his hands.

“Well, if you were expecting tea--” or anything of the sort-- “you certainly aren’t getting any now. A shame too, since I was going to offer a blanket so that you could warm up in this asinine weather.”

You wouldn’t answer. — He grumbles, securing the door behind him. — I have to get your out of your cocoon somehow.   — Green gestures to where he (vaguely) knew where Vio’s room would be.

Vio rolls his eyes as he makes sure the door is locked.

“As you may have found out, it’s cold outside, so forgive me if I’m a bit upset I had to leave the warmth of my bed.” Like a cat, this one is. “Besides, you didn’t tell me you were coming over.”

— That was about the sixth time he hit the stupid doorbell.

“You only need to press it once.” Vio steps aside to let Green in, but he’s not all too pleased about it. “Did you not have keys to the place?”
