“What is the point in praying? A higher being is supposedly listening to you confess and purge your innermost thoughts. It seems odd and slightly childish. But I was told to give it a try.” Looked up at the sky, Benjamin tried to think of something else other to say. “I feel ridiculous.”
“You poor thing,” cooed the wolf. The woman moved next to him, a sweet smile on her face. Although, that smile was nothing but trouble. She had been on her way to meet Eva, but her beautiful leader would understand this little detour. “I may not be a god, but I wouldn’t mind helping if I can. Although, I do need some help myself. Nothing major, but I need regulars if I go back to my old job and I would love to see your cute face.”
