With a couple of pallets, We’ll have enough beds, For everyone to, Rest their road weary heads.

I’ll sweep porch, And I’ll the grass, Won’t be long till, They’re here at last.

And I love to see this headlights in the drive. I love to see those headlights in the drive, Telling me the family has, Finally arrived. I love to see those headlights in the drive.

We took the kids fishing, But not for long, Before they’ve started singing, Their “I’m hungry” song.

They used all the hot water, Drank all of the milk, Which wouldn’t be bad if So much hadn’t been spilt.

They left all the lights on, Slammed the screen door, Got the dogs barking, And tracked mud ‘cross the floor.

And after they’ve been here a couple of days, After they’ve been here a couple of days, It’s good to finally see, Those taillights driving away, After they’ve been here a couple of days.

Yeah, I love them all dearly, But I have to say, It’s good to finally see those taillights, Driving away.
