It’s kinda stupid and nitpicky, but I don’t like to refer to myself or my anthro characters as “furries”. The word has a negative connotation for me, for multiple reasons. For one thing, I didn’t even know what the term meant until fairly recently, and what I learned doesn’t really match up with what I associate myself with; I don’t partake in any of the “furry culture” (don’t have a fursona/identify as an animal, I’ve never been to a Fur Con nor do I plan on it, etc.). The drawing of me with cat ear headphones is as close to “furry” as I’ve ever gotten lol. Even my characters imo don’t really have the “furry look”, I could be wrong about that but in general there seems to be a very specific art style/anatomy that people draw furries with. Again I didn’t know what a furry was until recently, and apparently there’s a wide spectrum of what some people consider to be furry compared to what other people consider it to be. But I’ve been drawing my animal characters since I was a kid because I was inspired by things like Loony Tunes, Disney, Sonic and Tom & Jerry (some people consider them to be furry characters too, but I don’t really see it tbh). Besides, it’s not the only kind of art I make. That leads me to the biggest issue I have with the word; I mostly just made this account to avoid being harassed by people who bash anthro art, because people as a whole tend to associate anthros with the worst end of the furry spectrum (I don’t think there needs much explaining for that). It’s cool if anyone who follows me considers themselves to be a furry, I don’t mind that. I just ask that anyone who reads this please don’t refer to me as a furry, and PLEASE don’t DM me asking to RP with my characters, cuz I don’t do that either. I’m just your everyday artist kid that also enjoys drawing anthros :P

Spiral Staircase - “I Love You More Today Than Yesterday” 🎶

My boyfriend Oct and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on the 9th~

This is the longest relationship I’ve ever had and we’re still going strong! I never imagined loving someone as much as I love him, I didn’t even expect to meet someone half as amazing as him, and I just need to express how lucky I feel to have him in my life.

He saved me in a way, because I was in a pretty bad place when we first met; I had gone through a lot of traumatic events at my school, was going through some severe depression, and was trapped in an abusive relationship with someone else. It wasn’t until Oct came along that I was able to pull myself out of the hole I had fallen into. We met through our mutual friends and immediately hit it off, not taking long to become best friends with each other (even to this day we’ve kept our daily hangout streak going! Haven’t spent a single day without each other). Because of his support, he helped me cope with many of my demons, and safely get out of my bad relationship. After I had some time to recover, he confessed that he wanted to be more than friends, and even though I had sort of a protective shell built around myself, I knew I felt the same way too… He’s the only person I’ve trusted this much and one of the few people I’ve been able to call a close friend, why not let it grow into something more? On February 9th, 2018, we made it official~ I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been and love love LOVE him to no end, here’s to 3 wonderful years and many more to come ✨❤️💕✨
