Let me explain a little bit about some lores⬇️

・Throughout the entire underground city of LOST!, the use of open flames is strictly prohibited! You need proper equipment and a license to use fire! You also have to take regular training courses!

But since so many people use fire without permission, fires used to break out all the time back when civilization still existed! As a remnant of that era, there are still sprinkler systems on a massive scale!

・Also, since they live in an underground city, their definition of “rain” is a bit different from ours! Any water falling from above is considered “rain”!

So, when they hear the word “rain,” the first things that come to mind are water leaks from burst pipes or sprinklers activated by fires! As a result, the idea that “rain = filth, fire, and bad luck” has really taken hold!

・The reason for the strict prohibition of open flames is twofold: first, the underground city is an enclosed space, and second, gasoline and oil are used extensively in daily life.

This rule isn’t just a guideline, it’s the law! Arson, in particular, is considered a more serious crime than murder. Why? Because the entire city could go up in flames!
