i feel so sad i havent had time or energy for artfight this year yet do you think its worth it to try doing it for like the last week
what if you had a content farm slop channel and you started inserting these original character designs and pretending they were from an actual indie cartoon or something and maybe had a fandom wikia to give it more legitimacy. do you think other content farm channels would pick up the characters and use them too and then eventually they end up on roblox and then with bootleg toys on alibaba and from there to the 99 cent store at the mall?
i was watching some vids last night about digital circus now that i have seen that and the way the fan content fed on scraps to practically create a separate parallel canon is fascinating to me but of course not at all the first time ive seen that. voltron, invader zim, etc. i still think the plot behind the first several fnaf games was basically written by baiting fans to write it themselves. but thinking about it makes me wonder if you had some sockpuppets or enough people in on it could you manufacture a fandom for something that doesn't exist. already lots of cases i see where fans are fans of the fanon, may not have even seen the real thing, may as well be trivia on a wiki to use as they please. i wonder...

i might join artfight late this year cause of im too busy to redo all my refs AND play AND not just do revenges this year but we'll see. i still owe a comm to jenny and i didnt finish the test vtuber i was doing for my irl friend from work.
a little beach scene i did in photoshop.
i'm still in need of money if anyone would like me to draw something, you don't have to use the kofi thing, i'll do whatever. lmk.
HEY
if anyone is interested in getting a commission in this style, i am in need of some money!! https://ko-fi.com/cyanoweasel it is only $20 but only right now!
i would also appreciate if anyone could share this!
i still have $5 doodles on my kofi as well. and if you liked one of my past years' artfight styles please message me and i can do a comm in that style for you. thank you!
if i sold these or something like this on etsy or something would anyone want to buy them? maybe like $5-$10?
they are pvc foam with acrylic paint. more lightweight and delicate than they look, I'd have to pack them carefully.
if you think it is interesting please share this around even if you don't want one, i'd appreciate that, thank you.
can someone give me 60 dollerssss
i am not sure how i wanna translate my zoroark oc to this toony style.. ive never been satisfied with any way i tried to stylize zoroark it is so difficult. i don't understand how that thing is built. i'm also realizing he looks so mean here but i was imagining he just got a little too intense about being mildly annoyed.

art asks: 7, 14, 19 :]
sorry i took a bit to answer!
7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate
i answered this on the other one but i realized i gave a really broad category so i want to shout out glasswork and ceramics as stuff i love looking at but wouldn't do myself! i also like stuff like weavings and embroidery and carpet-making, i have tried a little for fun but it's not my area of expertise.
14. Any favorite motifs
i really like complimentary pairs like day/night, winter/summer, fire/water, etc. sometimes i will represent this with twin snakes or a double-ouroboros. i think any concept has to be in balance with its opposite concept and i can get obsessive about it. i also use the idea of the phoenix a lot to represent my mental/emotional state and i have different colors associated with it, especially red and blue. i like that red is associated with fire/warm/summer/night (or sun)/earth and blue is water/cool/winter/day (or moon)/sky, but also in fire itself blue is way hotter than red. they could both be comfortable or dangerous colors in different ways. in my head the red and blue phoenixes are like characters in a heated philosophical debate.
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)
my janky little furnitures..
7, 29, 30 for artist asks?
( o_o)/ hi ( ^_^)/ helloo
7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate
- sculpture! or mostly as it relates to furniture and architecture. my dad has a background in sculpture and introduced me to artists like constantin brancusi. i like stuff with really pronounced shapes like brutalism or de stijl. my biggest barrier to doing sculpture stuff myself though is i have a bad sensory aversion to chalky textures like dry plaster and dry or fired clay. my wrists are also kind of weak for wood carving which my dad is into. ive played with plasticine clay though and also did these little pvc foam carvings a while ago.
29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically
- this was a really difficult question because idk if i like anything that doesnt inspire me at least in a roundabout way, like if i like it it will inspire me and if i am inspired by it i will like it? but the best i could come up with is food? is food a media? like sandwiches?
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
- i dont know cause i dont know what any of it was rated! i will assume it was all fair. you know what though i like those two drawings i did where the angel guy is getting haunted by creepy horses. and all the creepy horse isle art i have done. and the music vid i made in college for water curses even though it already had a music vid. and also, that time i drew a car that was also a dog. i think doggycar was ahead of its time.
i am remaking my portfolio website so i made this self portrait for the about me page
