I think about Dark Side AU every single day 🙏. As Donnick is now, I can’t see a route to him going full Dark Side that wouldn’t be stopped by him falling on his own sword before going so far that he hurt others for his own gain. His temptation is apathy- to give up caring about the Force, the balance, and people, to just run away again (even when he left and hid on Nar Shaddaa before, he couldn’t really stop helping people, though.)

Any real juicy Dark Side AU for him and Jacob is one where Donnick was found by the Sith instead of the Jedi, and he’s never raised to use his Force empathy of talent for connection in a good way. A darkest timeline where Jacob wavers and tries to leave the Sith, only for Donnick to bring him back around. Gaslight, gatekeep, greenboss.
