I might have found a major bug in the Playstation download version of the game. I downloaded it 3 days ago and created multiple save files so that I could replay chapters if I wanted to... as soon as you reach The Core HQ at Warsaw though you can't reload it. I first encountered it while playing the chess puzzle. No big deal, I thought, and went to an earlier save file. As soon as I saved in the HQ again at a later stage I couldn't load it again either. Now on my third save I just beat Coyle and wanted to prepare for the finale battle, saved again, took a break, and again the save data is defective. Before I try for a fourth time I wanted to let you know in case it's a unknown bug.

Hello! Thanks a lot for reporting it, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We were recently made aware of a bug that seems to be the same, so to make sure, may I ask which version and language are you playing? Is it the PS5 Asia version?

Hi hi!! I know you've already mentioned that fan made merch was allowed, but I was wondering if you have any specific boundaries regarding print-on-demand merch sites? (A more well known example I could give is Redbubble, though I'm personally looking into ACGGoods right now since they seem more artist-friendly)

Hi there! Thank you for asking 🙌 Print on Demand services are allowed, it's okay to use it for stationery, apparel, acrylic products, etc. It's also okay to sell fan merch on Etsy, ko-fi, etc. The only limitation is that logos and official images cannot be used as those are copyrighted 🙇

hi! since cygnus's abilities are based on songs, i was wondering what the gang's taste in music is like! do you have some songs you think they'd like?

Ooh, great question! They do have their own taste in music 🙌

As you mentioned, Cygnus is heavily inspired by music. He loves alternative, experimental and electronic music. In this older illustration you can see some of the bands he likes: The Mars Volta (taking his alias from their song "Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus"), Flying Lotus, Primal Scream, Tweaker (and everything Nine Inch Nails adjacent).

On the other hand, Ivan prefers calmer '70s music, mostly melancholic stuff with acoustic guitars. He's got a vinyl of Nick Drake's Pink Moon (his favorite track would probably be "Place to Be"). He also likes Joni Mitchell, David Sylvian, Carpenters, Don McLean.

Atiye is the only one who listens to pop music. She's a K-pop fan first and got into it by listening to 2NE1. She prefers girl bands like BLACKPINK (and ROSÉ), NewJeans and Le Sserafim.

Zoe is not a party member, but she's a big fan of Cocteau Twins as hinted in her "quest". Her lastname comes from Jaki Liebezeit from the German band CAN.

Lynn is into 90s music. Her favorite band is Pixies, and she also likes The Smashing Pumpkins, Sneaker Pimps and Esthero.

People born in The Core have only been exposed to the music played during ceremonies, so people like Rourke and Adair haven't discovered their taste in music yet.

Would there be any plans for more stories/character trivia bits/maybe mini comics/etc involving the Long Gone Days cast? I'd love to see more about the characters' lives outside of the game's events, even if it's anything small :D

In particular, right now I'm curious about how Cygnus would've normally lived before going into hiding. What would his regular living space look like? Any hobbies or habits that would be different/same to what's seen in-game?

We would love to release more content related to the main cast! At the moment we're still taking a bit of a break on it as we put a lot of personal projects on hold while we were focused on the development. Our programmer, Cam, is working on his music; Sim, our game designer & co-writer, is collaborating on other games+animations, and I (Bura, the artist and co-writer) am finally back tabling at artists alleys after a decade. We're still discussing new projects and ideas, so you will be seeing more stuff from us three, even if it's not Long Gone Days. I didn't exactly answer your question, but I do want to show their normal lives more, so expect at least some drawings 🙌

hello! asks from other people made me braver to ask a thing i wanted to ask a long ago :"3 how old the Raven Squad members are? (Coyle, Faye, Branna)

Please don't hesitate to ask, all questions are welcome! They are slightly older than the main cast. Coyle is 32, Branna is 31 and Faye is 35, which is why despite Coyle's position, he still sees her as his superior due to her experience.

Hello! While we don’t have their heights in actual numbers, we do have a lineup. Branna is actually the shortest major character in the game, and the tallest are Ivan and Matthias.

Hello! First of all, thank you for the wonderful game. It's been a long time since I've had so much fun playing a game. My question is about the character Red. She has a portrait, but in the game there are only a couple of dialogues with her. At first I thought she was Faye, but apparently not, lol. So I'm wondering if there was some cut content related to her? Thanks again!

Hello! In 2016 we made a crowdfunding campaign to fund the on-going development Long Gone Days. One of the rewards were in-game NPCs, with or without dialogue depending on the tier. Red is one of those characters!

We won’t name the backer in case they wish to remain anonymous, though. Off the top of my head, some other contributions are Solin (the barwoman of the Roter Hering bar), the guy with pink hair and a dog at the Night District, and the girl wearing an all-black outfit sitting next to a bird at the Central Plaza in Warsaw.

Hello! Inspired by the ask about Pascal's last name, what is his and Atiye's ages? We get to know the starting four's, but Atiye's and Pascal's ages are never brought up as far as I can remember. I got the impression they both are about 25-27, but it would be nice to know how old they're actually supposed to be :)

Hi there! Pascal is the youngest of the group and Atiye is one of the oldest!

Their ages are: Rourke is 22, Adair is 21, Lynn is 23, Ivan is 29, Atiye is 26 and Cygnus is 20 years old.

My friend told me I should ask this LOL but does Pascal have a canonical last name? We've just been calling him "Pascal Longgonedays"

That's a good question 🙈 When we were writing the story, the party was meant to travel to France, and they were going to meet Pascal there.

The name Pascal is common in a lot of countries so we kept it, but we didn't change his last name as it doesn't come up in the story.

His French last name was Bouchard, as "bouche du diable" (devil's mouth) was one of the alias we were looking into before we decided to go for star related names (Cygnus, Aldebaran).

TLDR: He doesn't have an official last name now 😔

I felt like Hanna was meant to be playable with how she travels with the group and has unique portraits. Were there plans for her to be playable? I beat the game last week. Thanks for making this game! I hope if there's a sequel its gameplay and writing are improved!

Thanks for your question! We didn't have plans to include more party members after Cygnus since they wouldn't have enough chances to be used during fights.

We learned a lot during and after the development of Long Gone Days so we're already taking those things into account in our next projects 🙌
