I've Been Thinking for a While
I think I need a break from this blog. And I have some thoughts about that:
I've noticed I'm hardly reblogging stuff related to synthwave, vaporwave, and retrowave. I'm having a hard time finding stuff from those aesthetics that I want to reblog on here. I see a lot of the same stuff in my searches for these aesthetics, and very little of it catches my eye.
As much as I love vaporwave, synthwave, and retrowave, I hate to admit it but I've slowly been losing interest in them, especially this year. I think they're just not as popular as they once were years ago. I've even stopped listening to synthwave and vaporwave bands and artists.
Dare I say these aesthetics have lost my appeal? Maybe I have outgrown them? I'm not sure yet...
I feel like I've lost focus with this blog and need to set a specific scope for what to add or not add here. Which means stepping back for a while. This isn't saying this blog will go away, I don't want to delete this blog at all. I just need a break
