This might be a hot take but those videos of catching predators/groomers where they slap or hit the predators rubs me the wrong way

It just feels off like theyre seeking praise cuz they found a socially acceptable outlet for their frustrations and inclinations of violence like it reminds me of all that controversy over the sound of freedom and the way child trafficking was portrayed somehow the whole “protecting children” literally became like a way to morally grandstand and virtue signal, especially because the average person who espouses it rarely has any meaningful responses for like actual pragmatic change to end child exploitation.

I just feel like getting cheap thrills from watching pedos get beat up is so twisted because its essentially encouraging our own like weird fascination with violence while not feeling bad about it because those people deserve it
