They were very unsure what to eat here, or how the cycles in such a place worked ... They were sure that a day had passed but no downpour that flooded everything when they didn’t find a safe spot came, it perplexed them and left them with a bit of unease, maybe a day hadn’t passed ... ? Where the cycles in this place that strange ? It was almost frustrating though they still hunted as they always would. Anything that was smaller than them they would try to spear or grab ... Though somethings tasted repulsive and they would throw it back.

It was, for now, their small cycle, but many things kept disrupting it. This place was lively and they didn’t like it. The only beings they ever had true meaningful interactions with were the scavengers, Big sister moon, and Five pebbles, so it was strange to see so many things that seemed to be smarter than most creatures back in their own world.

Rustle caused their ears to move to the location of the noise, something was coming through the brush and they quickly laid low. Hoping to possibly get the creature by surprise if it happened to be something that could eat, but what came through was a Slugcat, though one they knew wasn’t like them. Pure white and seeming to be just a bit smaller than them. They stood up, still with narrow eyes and spear in one hand, though after a moment holding out their other hand that they firmly had a berry grasped in, it was an attempt to show they meant no harm to the other.

Quick on their feet to sneak into a scenery they were much more comfortable with. Their own world had not been the prettiest of places, littered with pipes and monsters around every corner, lots of debris that was slowly being reclaimed by nature ... To some, it could be beautiful but to red, it was simply home. They knew nothing else so being in a new place that was very ... populated left them overwhelmed and on edge, aggressive as they wilded the spear they were awoken with, even if it was not what they usually had.

They didn’t know where they were or how they got there or where they were going but they were no longer surrounded by strange beings they had never seen, instead being around trees, or what they believed to be some sort of trees at least ... nothing like they had seen before though. They tried to relax now, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over as they had been running for so long, though their ears perked up, quickly grabbing the spear as they heard leaves rustle towards them, another being similar to them though slimmer appearing, their dark eyes narrowed as they held the spear in a way to appear indimidating.

They didn’t want to hurt anyone if the other wasn’t here to hurt them ... But it was better to be safe than sorry.

The red slug cat

-> Squishy, Slimy, and Red! Looks like a cat but feels like a slug, how strange! -> Is a carnavior so if they are hungry they could possibly bite, just a warning! -> They can be friendly, sometimes. As long as you pose no threat to them... and they take many things as a threat so tread carefully, they know how to use that wooden spear they got ! -> Can’t talk but is able to understand gestures and some vague forms of language -> Really likes the moon, sleeps under the moon a lot -> Slimy cat friend, will cuddle with you if you earn their trust... not sure if you want a slimy cat cuddling with you but it’s an offer
