all of a sudden i got hit with this wave of sadness and empathy for all the spacecraft out there. theyre all always trying so hard and its so tough and lonely in space yet theyre always so good for everybody. i wish i could comfort them somehow

this one did the best it could. its name is LADEE. LADEE couldnt help its fate and it crashed into the surface of the moon

the MarCO twins supported InSight in their most vulnerable moments. Went where no cubesats ever went before. Their names were WALL-E and EVE. They stayed together until they both fell silent

Meteosat-8 did her best to help us with weather monitoring despite suffering so so many complications. Shes now decommissioned but still devoutly awaiting another command from her team

and i could go like this for forever and ever. its so easy to just get lost in all their precious lives and stories. every single one. i love them all so much
