the cookout is one of the only big alliances who dominate the game that i’ll defend. obviously for their goal but i’m looking from a gameplay standpoint as well. tiffany’s buddy system plan was masterful, we’ve never seen anything like that attempted and have it be completed flawlessly. it wasn’t like the minority just couldn’t win comps to take them out and got picked off, there were so many chances they had to take them out or force their hands to take each other out (like alyssa winning pov with claire otb at f8). they just played extremely well and were able to mist the entire house. they didn’t exploit a twist like battle of the block, they didn’t bully or isolate anyone, and they didn’t succeed because they got lucky with the people on the outs not winning anything, they just outplayed them.

12/22 first boots were men, about 52%, far from a rule of thumb

13ish/22 were white, about 59%. And given that prior to bb23 about 25% of the cast (at best) wasn’t white. at best it should be 75% of first boots being white

7ish/22 were straight up white dudes, at 32%.

of the 32% of white male first boots…

5/7 were in their 20s, at 71%, despite typically making up on average 94% of men in the home

4/5 of those men could be described closer to being dudebros, at 80% of all young white men.

Sarah was talking about how she lost her dad to Covid and how it’ll be a whole year on the 19th. Makes me think back to last year when Cody chalked up the virus as “just the sniffles”.

I can’t even imagine how Sarah feels. I had the virus and I got so lucky to only have mild symptoms but this virus has devastated so many people.
