Yuna Hollander saw how Hayden and Shane bonded and became best friends, something her son never really had, and immediately updated his contract so that if Shane ever gets traded Hayden goes with him (and vice-versa obviously). Like when animals at the shelter are a bonded pair and you have to adopt both if you want one (Jackie fully supports this because she knows her husband would be so sad without his best friend).

AND WHILE WE ARE ON THE TOPIC- you cannot convince me that Shane isn't lowkey a third parent to the Pike kids. Like fuck you Shane 100% helped Jackie and Hayden raise those kids. Bros been around since before the twins were born.
