Greetings all! Itâs your friendly neighborhood moderator.  My there are so many new people since I last made contact.  So hello and welcome to all of you.  We are well past 1,000 followers at this point (in fact weâre closing in on 1,700). and Iâm afraid school got a little too busy for me to put together a give-away.  I will be putting one together soon (I hope) now that Iâm going to exam week. I could not maintain this blog without all of you lovely followers.  And I absolutely love getting dice shame submissions from you!  Please, Shame your dice, shame your friendâs dice, and submit them! Happy holidays, keep rolling, and donât panic, because crit happens!
Drago del Buio, Stella Soave, Ombra, Sette Giorni di Sangue commissioned characters from a LARP, âNumeneraâ
Olivia is a Super Smart Princess who Experiments With Science. Rowan is a Cool Robot who Plays With Ooey Gooey Things. They just found out that their friend Wiffle has been captured by saw-toothed witches deep in DragonSnot Falls! Theyâre the only ones who can enter Storia and save Wiffleâhow will they do it? Itâs all up to them!
No Thank You, Evil! is tabletop game of creative make-believe, adventure, and storytelling. In No Thank You, Evil!, each player creates a character based on a couple of cool, descriptive, imagination-firing traits. The Guide (a special role often played by a parent or older sibling) presents a dilemma, and the players set off on an adventure of the imagination. Along the way they use their characterâs special skills, companions, and equipment to overcome obstaclesâperhaps fighting a slime monster, winning over the suspicious mayor, or beating a rabbit at a race.
Whereas conventional board games constrain playersâ actions, No Thank You, Evil! sets kidsâ imaginations free: Their options are limited only by what they can think up. Together, the players create a story as they work together to make their way through the adventure!

Monte Cook Gamesâ Response
It's been a few days since our open call for discussion regarding the petition at change.org, so we at MCG wanted to give you an update on our response to the situation.
Since the petition went up, weâve read everything weâve found on the Internet about the issueâand weâve been saddened by the malicious words from some of our supporters and our critics. But thankfully there have also been some considerate, intelligent, thoughtful voices coming through the fray and those are the ones we want to listen to.
We have also been interacting with cultural appropriation and Native American resources, organizations, and experts outside of the Internet about the matter. Of course, the real world moves much slower than the Internet does, so these conversations are taking some time.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Monte Cook Games
Look what I got today! Canât wait to try this baby out!
Stories from the Table: Numenera
On Sunday night, we played more Numenera! Â And it was pretty much everything I wanted it to be and more, because Travis (who used to be in my Wednesday group but went AWOL due to real life last July) showed up to play. Â The only sad thing was Will didnât get to do or say much last adventure. Â This should be remedied somehow.
Letâs see⊠ There was an awful lot of bickering this game, and that was absolutely lovely.  At one point, our GM told us to âkeep up the banterâ because he was looking for something, which made us pause because we thought he was being sarcastic â but, no, actually, he was looking for something and he did want us to keep bickering like an old married couple.  Keith and I are pretty good at this thing, and I approve.
