Godzilla minus one is a beautiful movie.

and I actually can’t believe that I called some of the things that happened. Because honestly, they could’ve gone either way.

My idea for the Godzilla minus one sequel:

10 years into the future. Noriko’s health is failing meanwhile Godzilla begins to resurface, fully recovered. Noriko sends Koichi to help in the war against Godzilla meanwhile she seeks out the help of Doc to cure her.

It is revealed that the Godzilla cells within her body are attaching the human ones. Noriko leaves Akiko in the hands of Sumiko. Koichi begins aiding the war against Godzilla, but it seems the weapons they have do not work anymore. Godzilla has evolved. Noriko realizes that the only chance they have is to create another monster and begs Doc to go through with it. Noriko evolves into Biollante. She manages to fight Godzilla and send him back to the sea. Yet she loses control of herself in the process. Koichi is sent to fire bomb Biollante and ends up destroying the monster. Koichi returns home to a letter detailing Noriko’s sacrifice, realizing he’s killed the only person he’s ever truly loved. Pan to the burning remains of Biollante releasing seed pods that scatter into the wind.
