Through his life time, Ken Rex McElroy was charged with more than 20 felonies, including rape, robbery, and shootings. He was never convicted. Even the cops were afraid of him. Before his death, he was finally convicted of assault for shooting Ernest “Bo” Bowenkamp in the neck, a grocer in Skidmore but freed on bail while his appeal was pending. At a meeting, the townspeople decided to get ride of him themselves.

On July 10, 1981, Ken Rex McElroy, nicknamed The Town Bully by the press, was shot by 2 men in broad daylight in downtown Skidmore, Missouri, in front of 40+ witnesses. To this day, no one has been charged with the killing.

According to the autopsy report, Ken Rex McElroy was shot in the back of the head. Another bullet was found in the neck and two bullets in the back.

Le Cochon Danseur

The Dancing Pig is a silent, 4 minute long, black-and-white burlesque film released in 1907 by French company Pathé (based on a  Vaudeville act).

The film has this giant/terrifying anthropomorphic pig, dressed in fancy clothes, that dances around with a girl who ultimately embarrasses the pig by ripping his clothes off.

What you are seeing the oldest surviving film in existence. This film is called “Roundhay Garden Scene” and was shot on the single lens motion camera invented by Louis le Prince. 

The scene shows Louis’s son Adolphe, Louis’s in-laws, Sarah and Jospeh Whitley, and Annie Hartley walking around the Roundhay garden. Sarah Whitley died 10 days after this scene was filmed. 

 While many credit Edison with inventing the motion camera Le Prince actually invented one first, though he was never credited with the idea as he permits never went through and were lost. 

Louis le Prince disappeared on September 16, 1880 after getting on a train in Dijon, France. His body nor belongings have never been found and many wonder what happened to who some call “the father of cinematography”

The bagh naka is a claw-like weapon from India designed to fit over the knuckles or be concealed under and against the palm. It consists of four or five curved blades affixed to a crossbar or glove, and is designed to slash through skin and muscle.
