Todo un acierto, tanto del piloto como del fotógrafo.

Robert Capa - Dday Landing, Omaha Beach (1944)
Capa fascinated me when I was studying him throughout high school and college. His images stood out in my mind forever engrained. I mean, the guy was on Omaha Beach snapping away under German gunfire. This is one of those images that I will never forget. It is said that he used three rolls of film and exposed 106 frames. Upon taking a train back home to England to have the film developed, the film technician was anxious to see the film as much as Robert was and he ended up drying the film too fast (a film dryer is a cabinet where you hang developed film to dry); the intense heat melted the emulsion from the film leaving only 10 images remaining. Those that remained were blurred, but surreal shots.
Nice photo.

XKCDs Radiation Dose Chart
This is a chart of the ionizing radiation dose a person can absorb from various sources. The unit for absorbed dose is “sievert” (Sv), and measures the effect a dose of radiation will have on the cells of the body. One sievert (all at once) will make you sick, and too many more will kill you, but we safely absorb small amounts of natural radiation daily. Note: The same number of sieverts absorbed in a shorter time will generally cause more damage, but your cumulative long-term dose plays a big role in things like cancer risk.
