Original + my pattern

I never really know when inspiration is going to strike me but in this case the second d0gtoothjones sent me this one I was hopping on stitch fiddle to see what I could do.

This is what the pattern looked like fresh out of stitch fiddle’s generation (to be clear: stitch fiddle does not use ai). I was inspired to add a second shade of blue because I had a lot of navy blue yarn.

I’m going to rb this with a dump of update photos so here’s some blocking pics instead!

Pre blocking + back

I actually had to go out and buy more mats for this block bc it’s so big

Waterboard his ass

Again, had to get a bucket to wash him in bc he was too big for the sink

50% + 75% of the way through blocking

The last side is always the worst and it took much finagling to get it where I wanted
