Considering how proud the Z-team was of Invisigal after she arrested Lightningstruck, I wish her relationship with them was more important to her story. Instead of her wanting to improve because of her crush on Robert, she realizes through her closeness with the rest of the Z-team that she is capable of doing good and improving as a person like they have. Blonde and Robert reinforce this, expressing how proud they are of Visi's progress and encouraging her to continue her rehabilitation. However, she feels intense guilt and dread because she believes that once everyone learns she's working for Shroud, that revelation will end her new life at SDN. Invisigal tells herself that this is all “fake” and that she’s merely playing along to gain everyone’s trust, but she knows she’s trying to make her eventual betrayal less painful.
In episode 7, when most of the Z-team want Visi gone, she feels hurt because she has lost Z-team’s trust and faith in her, which feeds into her belief that she’s a "villain" and that she'll always be one. This makes me wish AdHoc had focused more on the Z-team and their relationships, because it’s clear that Invisigal does care about how the team feels to an extent, yet she prioritized Robert’s thoughts and feelings about her over theirs due to her crush on him.
The Z-team, Robert, and Blonde Blazer's support and encouragement should've made Invisigal want to change rather than a crush. Through her relationships and experiences with everyone, she recognizes that she can be better and that she was never born to be a villain like she initially believed.
