since this role-play is based off of a Dust's channel, if it won't well for the channel / will hurt the lore alot, then it might not be answered/used. If I like it, I might make it cannon tho! only if it doesn't effect other channel members-

[so my version fresh used to be completely emotionless in the past, running completely off of instinctual fear, but after he stayed in a host around the same people for long enough, he started (its very new so its not used to emotions yet) feeling some emotions and started developing actual opinions and stuff (dislikes, hatreds, hobbies, etc.), but its still at an absolute minimal (its like a tiny voice in the back of its skull, easily ignorable) but sometimes these emotions basically explode and cause a breakdown or panic attack :3. they still tend to stay as the persona of the 90s parasite guy, but has more thoughts and the such outside just this persona :D. also he knows about the creators and stuff, can hear them sometimes (sometimes he breaks the fourth wall lol), and is scared that the creators might find him boring and delete him sometime (existential crisis! yay :) (also part of the reason why he keeps the persona up)]
[also this fresh is known by others (not a lot of them, like papyrus only recently learned about it by accident-) to be a parasitic boi that will use them as a host if needed, so some of them tend to be weary of him :) he doesn't exactly hide the fact he's a parasite unless its someone who doesn't know yet (he's very bad at hiding it still)]
[alot of my head cannons and development of my version of this boi comes from incidents on stream (im in a roleplaying group that streams on YouTube, you can find it in a repost on here) and random thought that pop into my mind >:3]

I asked an older of an oc of mine (Newly renamed Amiri since I reworked their story quite a bit), their soul is like really powerful, an anomaly with the theoretical potential for power stronger than all main 7 human soul kinds combined but since xeir skeleton monster body cannot handle that all at once it just kind of produces as much as it's currently needed of it and is highly adaptable, so it has a pretty powerful baseline and can adapt to harsher conditions, we used one of those soul transfusion thingies to make this, maybe it would help make your hosts last longer?
*You received a soul concentrate vial, filled with glowing white but rainbowy at the edges especially if you shift it around liquid soul magic, it's quite pretty actually, when opened smells of buzzing powerful magic and sweet like the caring good person zey are

its probably not gonna work in the long run (like fresh said) cause he isn't really made ta consume just straight up juice like that (like drinking only protein shakes for a long time) but it'll work for a while and probably let him stay in this host for longer :)

I have mostly been huntin' da' real unradical dudes, but sometimes I do need ta' use someone dat doesn't really deserve it as a host in a few of em' emergencies...
most of da' time im hunting down da' real uncool brahs in parties and da' such, like dose real crazy college parties where everyone get a little tad bit to drunk or high ta' notice anythin' wrong...da' alcohol and drugs are real unradical and tick me da' funk off, but da' hunt is easiest there!
Broo it really sucks that you have to kill your hosts just to survive, would be really cool if Sci could invent an artificial host you could use, if that's even possible, I mean it would probably be pretty difficult since it requires inventing a way to create an artificial soul similar enough to the real thing for you to still be able to use it, ideally one that overproduces magic so it wouldn't run out with you using it or a way to periodically replenish and repair it with outside means, and a way to connect it to an artificial body so you could control it.
I dunno, maybe something like that could be possible, I have no idea, if you're friends with your multiverse's Sci you could ask him or befriend him if you haven't yet :p

Also they struggled a lot in the past but now that they've figured their life out they're like, really good at this peaceful approach, having a ton of willing hosts and feeders they can switch between whenever they need to, since like they're just a genuine sweetheart about it and can make the experience quite alright they just gotta be reeally careful and gentle and not take too much and make sure the person is entirely comfortable with it with all their soul, they're so kind and caring people around them genuinely like 'em a lot even with what they are cuz of that :>

I feel like my version of fresh is soooooo, so simular , but it can't really keep its hosts alive due to how it actually parasitizes the soul- he kinda has to rip the soul in half to feed on it..... (the soul is only held together by the parasite pulling the halves together, this takes a lot of energy and makes it even more inefficient, while the body deteriorates over time)
their really nice when they care (later on when they actually start feeling emotions more and get used to it) and honestly have wished that they could have a system in place for their needs like Neon- but its impossible due to how they work
he's just kinda unlucky to have such an inefficient way of surviving due to how his parasitism works (it also causes him to need to switch hosts more often)
they also only show / put down their guard more around people they trust/have been around more (doesn't mean that the other trusts fresh tho...) which ends up with the other person knowing about him being a parasite (accident or not). this way he warns them to stay an arms length away so they can stay safe from him (he does this subconsciously lol)
people he doesn't care about usually only see his persona of a 90s funky guy until its too late-
its also very mentally unstable due to hearing voices- aka the creators
(also fun fact: his host's form kinda changes how he looks, like tails can translate into a more funky version but will still exist, same with horns, fins, etc. :)

my fresh doesn't have their own name yet (mostly cause this rp was for a stream that involves not-oc's, but I think I might turn him into an oc if the channel ends someday) but I think imma make them one eventually
I think my version would be great friends with yo oc if he had a way to non-lethally get a host lol

Speaking of songs, I do have a storyline Fresh playlist I compiled that's like very thought out and stuff, not all of the songs might fit u specifically my broski dere are different versions of Fresh, and this one basically goes from funky to true dark nature to fall and crisis love ball style to redemption and love with a lil bit of freaky in that one spot to funky again, I'm sure you would like quite a few of the songs in there like in the funky sections especially, you (and the one roleplaying u FOURTH WALL BREAK ALERT) can check it out sometime :p
