Athena: The Magisterium. You were apart of it, but not a Magister. What was it like?
Tranquil: I served some Magisters, and was asked to do basic work. Read some books to find points of interest, hunt down escaped slaves, one specifically wanted me as a masseuse.
Athena: You hunted escaped slaves?
Tranquil: I was tasked to bring them back. I don't prefer it, but at the time, I thought of it as my obligation. If I couldn't escape, why should they?
Athena: You didn't feel pity for them? Let them go ever?
Tranquil: Athena, I don't feel anything. And that was a different time. A different woman with a name I no longer use.
Athena: Why did you change your name?
Tranquil: Why did you change yours?
Athena: I didn't want to use the name I was given when I had a price.

Tranquil: It was simple to me. My name belonged to two different people. I chose to distinguish them.
Athena: I guess that's pretty similar to my name. But do you actually see yourself as a completely different person?
Tranquil: It's hard for someone who doesn't feel anything to be compared to someone who felt too hard. Using that name would be a disservice to them.
Athena: That sounds rather sentimental.

Lace: I was assigned here. And from what I've seen, the same is true anywhere. Not many surface dwarves clustered together.
Ognek: Did you not work with many Dwarves in your Inquisition?
Lace: ⭐Well, there was of course the Inquisitor. There was our Arcanist, Dagna. ⭐She's out somewhere with Sera. And then there was Varric Tethras.
Ognek: The author?!
Lace: Yes. You read his books, Ognek?
