Look what I found!!!!!
In Therinfal Redoubt, inside one of the buildings, I spotted this.
Looks familiar!
Reminded me a lot of the fog warrior necklace in DA:2.
I'd love to hear some theories y'all have as to why it got there!

Areca - Magister of House Amadán
So playing a DA/DnD compaign and we uh...kind of inherited a seat in the magisterium and we decided to put the fog warrior qunari monk as our representative because that is just who we are as a party.
First magisterium meeting ended when the conclave blew up (yay Inquisition!). Also we are in the Fade and I am pretty sure we aren't getting out alive. RIP Areca, I love you so much.
WIP Wednesday!
I’ve always wondered what Fenris had looked like while he was with the Fog Warriors. I have... very little to go off of besides the wiki entry, so there will be a lot of stylizations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In our 45 min breakdown we dissected every single shot in the behind the scenes trailer, however, we left some room for a separate video focused on speculating everything about the two main character concept shots..
We will be relating a lot of these concept pieces to characters revealed in Tevinter Nights, as we believe many characters were introduced into the book, as a set-up for Dragon Age 4. With that said, put on your tinfoil hats, and join us as we speculate through the main characters shown!
(Fenris[The Vigilante] and Talan[The Fog Warrior])
Talan: I've got a needle and thread.
Fenris: What?
Talan: You argue so much against magic, I figured I was next in line to pick a fight with. You could win right now if my mouth was sewn shut.
Fenris: I wish mages be restricted and watched over.
Talan: Does the Qun not do enough to restrict them? Maybe they can still flick their fingers from the manacles. Chop off all the fingers and shut their eyes as well?
Fenris: That's not what I'm saying. Before the rebellion in Fereldan, I felt that Circles gave safety to the rest of the public, because Templars could easily negate mages. Tevinter does not have a templar order. That's why I brought my fight to Magisters. Saarebas are controlled by those who don't understand how to control magic other than make them less than people. Slaves. Things.
Talan: You're not good at arguing. How do the rest of them get so riled up? Except Mydha, he's just envious of you.
Mydha: This isn't envy. It's an appreciation, like a child growing up to be just like me.
Fenris: Antivans.
Talan: Tell me about it.
Mydha: Pendejos.
Fenris: I prefer not to argue about what I believe, but it's unavoidable for some people.
Quinn: Hmph.
Nico: *cough*
Talan: Oh. I see. You're scared of starting an argument with me. Do not worry, Fenris, I already used an elf as a toothpick earlier today. I won't get mad at you speaking your mind.
Mydha: What did you do to Hermosa?
Athena: I hope Mydha's okay.
Fenris: I already spoke my mind. But maybe I'll use that needle and thread to sew the hole in my tunic.
Talan: All yours. But warn me if you decide to sew my mouth in my sleep. I'd like to use it one last time.
Titus: Teeheehee.
Talan: Not like that.
Fenris: Of course. I'd imagine you'd need a final toothpick.
My interpretation of what a Fog Warrior looks like.
My random thoughts on them:
They revere birds as they are the representation of what they fight for: Freedom
Specifically, they revere predatory bird (I picked a Hawk.. ah foreshadowing of what will come Fenris’ way?) and they get their first feather during their rite of passage into adulthood. As they pass milestones, they accumulate feathers and other things to decorate their headdress.
They braid and care for their hair as a tribe ritual; boys get their hair done by their mother, grown men by their partner and vice versa. This ritual around the fire is a sacred bonding moment for them.
Although they were the native inhabitants of Seheron before the whole Tevinter/Qunari conflict, I think they have taken in a few selected outsiders (like Fenris) to join their tribe over the years, making them all slightly different in look over years.
Yo Bioware... you better fill in the blanks or I’m going to keep making up stuff. :P
My illustration of a fog warrior for the second edition of @dragonagezines !
new look for Areca, my qunari fog warrior in the Dragon Age campaign I am playing in. A lot of bad stuff happened and she is slowly heading toward a villain arc--but that’s totally fine, right?
