Baelor was 39 when he died and Maekar was ~34 (his early 30s). Valarr wasn't older than Daeron, who was, enthusiastically speaking, 20 at the time of Ashford. So Baelor was 20-21 when he had his first child and Maekar was at most SIXTEEN (16).

So what I'm saying is that in omegaverse Maekar was giving birth at the ripe old age of 16.

(P.S. it wouldn't just be giving birth early. Daeron, Valarr and Aerion are within the same age range. Baelor was not getting off of him.)

Hammeranvil with one sided Stormanvil where alpha Lyonel used to court omega Maekar (a lot of Lyonel ragebaiting Maekar actually) in their youth after Maekar designated gender was revealed. Sometimes young Lyonel would ask Maekar to spar with him while Baelor was away. Lyonel openly flirted with him but Maekar always played it down, thinking of him as some kind of rival in swordsmanship.

Lyonel also stole a kiss from Maekar, which angered Maekar because he hated to be treated as an omega. Lyonel’s attempt at wooing Maekar worked some time later after Baelor’s betrothal to Jenna was publicly announced. The omega sought comfort from Lyonel to mend his broken heart hearing the older brother he loved so dearly was about to wed to someone else.

When Baelor stumbled upon Lyonel and Maekar made out in an open woods, he got really mad that he punched Lyonel on the face in rage. The night after the incident Maekar confronted Baelor and they got in a heated argument, which escalated into an intense sex and Maekar was left marked and claimed by his eldest brother.

Years later, three of them were reunited again in Tourney in Ashford in which Maekar awkwardly stared at Lyonel who kept grinning at him and Baelor in teasing way.

Meanwhile Baelor tried to put a stoic face and restrained himself from barking at Lyonel when the other alpha winked and sticked out his tongue suggestively at his brother-wife.

After Dunk is properly mated to Aerion after accidentally claimed him during Trial of Seven, the news of Aerion’s pregnancy soon spread quickly through the whole stormlands in following months.

Hearing their son’s pregnancy, Baelor and Maekar pays a visit to Summerhall.

While Baelor awkwardly bonds with his son in law by sharing him multiple stories about Aerion in his infancy and childhood and silently congratulates them, Maekar is giving Aerion advices regarding childbearing and childrearing.

Aerion is kind of embarrassed and overwhelmed with all the care his parents are showering him with, but also he is kind of grateful because Maekar is showing him a tenderness that he only recollected during his childhood.

As the delivery date draws closer, Maekar extends his stay in Summerhall so he can give support to Aerion when Dunk is not allowed to enter the birth chamber. The older omega keeps murmuring encouraging words, telling Aerion the story how Maekar himself brought him into the world, how proud he is even though Aerion had previously given him so many disappointments.

It is Maekar who catches the newborn babe between Aerion’s bleeding nether region, and as he holds up the tears between his eyes, he passes the baby to crying Aerion who manages a small thank you to his dam.
