Yeah, I know who my muse is. I don't care. Merle's bigotry was objectively a character flaw that the show was actively attempting to redeem when he was killed off; it's not a positive trait. This blog functions as though Merle didn't die when the Governor shot him (somehow); it picks up with redemption in mind, so your bigotry is 100% not welcome here. This is not, and will never be, a safe space for you or anyone like you.

Merle's racism is objectively a character flaw that the show was actively attempting to redeem when they killed him off; it's not a good thing 😬 But I guess that's the risk one takes when enjoying characters like this; they tend to attract genuine bigots 😞

But Will's the type of abuser that's like "no one is allowed to hurt you but me" and since he knows Merle actually does like when he calls him that, Will sometimes calls him that just to calm him down and make him feel better. Very rarely, but he does still do that on occasion.

I could be mixing it up with another instance, but I'm pretty sure he calls him "princess" after one of the times Jess SAs him, just to make him feel a little better. But, on the flip side, that's also what Will calls him when SAing him, so Merle's feelings for it are very mixed.
