"Well I wouldn’t know, considering you have that little girl with you all the time," he sneered. He never had understood Tobin’s affection for the girl, especially someone not even blood related. It had been an subject of argument for the two.
"Your business is me, not her.” Tobin snapped back, always quick to defend the child even though near nothing else could anger him. He really didn’t care what Javier’s opinion was on their relationship, he did his job and he took care of Ksenia, that’s all that mattered. “You want to give them to someone else go right ahead. Want them to come back? Leave her out of it and let me do my job.”
Javier smirked. "Better watch your attitude or I'll give you some girls this time." He wasn't bothered by Tobin's outburst; this kind of thing happened a lot.
