My best friends cat, Gandalf, has been going through a lot lately. He was unable to eat, had to have emergency surgery and now needs to be medicated.

I am Gandalf and was born in November 14 years ago. Together with my mom i was found inside of a vent in a factory and brought to an animalshelter.
My brother and I were quickly adopted by a lovely person and spent a beautiful life with them.
But now that i am older, i sadly got very ill.
I had trouble breathing and started to eat less which caused me to loose alot of weight.
One night my owner was in shock when she found me laying in the bathroom with a bloddied nose and wheezing.
We went immediatly to the vet. They first suspected that i had trouble with my teeth that cause mucus to constantly fill my sinuses. Turned out they had to perform emergency surgery on me the next day.
The vet pulled some problematic teeth during the surgery, but also found another cause of my illness.
An X-ray showed that a lymph node in my throat was swelling and my spleen was larger than usual.
My owner is in total dispair, because she already couldnt afford the surgery. The good thing is, that the vet is positive i could be a healthy cat again!
I am currently doing a medicinal therapy and the vet will have to do more bloodtests. Due to that there are still a few bills coming our way.
My Owner and I have been best friends since we were both children. I still have so much energy left and want to spend my time with her, which this illness is hindering.
