Whatever made me happy, did the same to you - you didn't care about what it was. Didn't care how tiny or 'unimportant'. Seeing me happy and amazed made you feel the same. You were always too good for this world.. I just wish your life wouldn't have been that complicated, stressful and full of pain. I hope you had a lot of good times during the years where we missed out on each other. You deserved the best, because you were the best Dad.

It's hard to know he was 'alone' I should have been around. I should have helped him. Took care of him. Be there for him. Not just for his sake, but also for mine. I would've loved to spent his last months, weeks, days, hours, his last breath with him. It should have been this way.. Knowing he had people who helped him and cared deeply for him is a comfort, but still it's hard. So so hard.
