Icy eyes flickered upwards as a deep sigh left Erik. He had never handled being ordered around well, let alone when he was ordered around by a student. For a brief moment, Erik considered stepping further back, considered letting Charles’ student handle the situation on their own. The threat was severe, yes, however Erik didn’t see any real threat to himself. 

But if he didn’t help, Erik doubted his friend would ever forgive him. It was with another sigh that he reluctantly lifted a hand, pulling metal from nearby buildings.

        Erik could hold a grudge for quite a long amount of time. That much was obvious from how he’d spent so much of his life tracking down Shaw just to kill the man. But things were different where Charles was concered. It’d always been that way. It wasn’t a question of how long Erik could be mad. Because some part of him would likely always be at least irritated with his friend for abandoning him to a decade in prison, for abandoning all of the mutants because Charles felt sorry for himself. 

        But how long was he going to be truly mad with Charles? And to that, Erik had no answer, no way to put a time frame on his anger. “Honest answer? I’m not sure. That’s a hard question to answer, Charles.”

Erik almost can’t think straight through the ringing in his ears, the throbbing of his skull. It takes several seconds for him to notice that the metal in their immediate vicinity is    t r e m b l i n g,    banging against concrete walls as a clear representation of the anger and     b e t r a y a l    he’s still feeling. “Yeah, no thanks to you.” He makes no effort to calm down, to let everything be    s t i l l    around them. If anything the longer Erik sits there, lets Liv check his head for any obvious injuries, the   a n g r i e r   he gets. Liv had no right intervening. She had no right.  She didn't    u n d e r s t a n d.  He is oh so tempted to    k i l l    Liv, or at the very least throw Liv out of a window or through a wall. It’d only be    f a i r    considering she had just done it to him. “Get the fuck away from me.” It’s the    o n l y    warning that she’s going to get before Erik truly loses it.
