HAPP Y NEW YEAR!

What a year. 61 shows in 10 countries! We played a church in Leeds and a punk rock venue in Hamburg. We played a show in the ghetto of Aarhus for muslims and a show in front of a team of journalists during Tallinn Music Week. We played for 10 elderly people in Germany and a show in front 500 8-10 year olds in France. We played in a tiny café in our hometown and a huge festival in Rennes in front of 2000 people during Trans Musicales. Oh, and we released a new album! NME Magazine thought it was on of the best albums that month while GAFFA thought it was pretty mediocre and suggested me to start smoking to roughen up my voice. I was already smoking though, but after the last show this year I stopped, and I haven't smoked a single cigarette for 3 weeks now. Sorry GAFFA. We were invited to play shows with amazing artists such as Broken Twin, Mermonte, SPRING OFFENSIVE and HONIG and we joined forces with the best agencies in Europe WART-Booking&Programmation and Burning Eagle Booking. Thanks to everyone who bought our music, supported us and spread the word about us. Thanks to those who've remixed our music, came to our shows, wrote us e-mails, booked us to play, made us food, let us stay over, and helped us in any way. We love you. Happy new year everyone!

And so, we're doing our final shows of this year next week, and we can't wait! We're visiting three lovely German cities and then we're heading to Rennes in France to play Trans Musicales. The dates are below including ticket links.

Editorial for Drowned In Sound!

Dear friends, I had the huge (!) honor of writing an editorial for the great Drowned In Sound about participation, remixing and democratization of creative practice. "It’s about taking steps, however small, toward establishing processes that allow us to pass from a consumer culture towards a culture of activity, engagement and reflection."

Video premiere!

It's done. It's out there. It happened. Thanks to our extremely hardworking film crew, and this amazing community, we can finally present to you our new video for 'In The Seine'. Earlier this year I was left speechless to see that our crowdfunding campaign reached its goal within 24 hours. From the bottom of hearts, thank you! Sometimes dreams do come true

When I was younger I grew up with reading NME and it was always exciting to go down to the shop to grab a copy and learn about new music. Today they are actually writing about my new album, and it feels a bit unreal. Year Of The Flesh is picked as one of this months best releases! They wrote things such as:

"sumptuous... so joyous it’d bring a grin to even the most dedicated of grouch’s face".

And what do you know. This is also the world premiere of our new video for In The Seine, which came into being with help from this incredible community. It's very hard to explain the gratitude we're feeling right now.
