The bunker had been Jack’s home. The only one he’d ever known. It was easier to be here when Sam and Dean were, their presences distracting from the ache of Jack’s absence. Now that it’s cold and empty save for Castiel the memories drift through the halls, haunting him, and showering him in the bitterest guilt.
