thoughts on pitch perfect 2

the bad:

-offensive racist jokes that the mexican girl makes about herself  -still making the lesbian come off a tiny bit creepy -another obvious (although cute i guess) hetero relationship (emily and benji) that had zero time to develop and i didn’t really get completely - that tiny bit of jeca - although I’m kind of getting the vibes that the writers wish they never wrote that in the first one because they don’t know what to do with it now? it just seems really pointless. but it’s okay there’s more bechloe than jeca hahaha.

the good:

-hilarious (minus those racist jokes), actualy 100x funnier than the first -great music

-bechloe vibes (like woah super bechloe vibes) -kind i guess canon bi beca or at least I’m gonna call it -it was so gay I LOVED IT -whilst some of the story was dodgy it was pretty good -i almost cried -I actually really like emily (and no not just because hailee steinfeld) and she was super dorky and naive which I kinda of liked since we haven;t had a girl like that yet. I just wish they could have made her have some character development or something you know. - that fucking snoop dog - hello obamas - story was good, but some of it was underdeveloped. -omg bumper and amy that was perfect! (that’s the kind of shit I want to see if you’re going to do hetero) -I freakin’ loved bank’s character disagreeing with the dude commentator when he said sexist things A+ - that minority comment ‘I’m a black, female, lesbian’ nice - SO GAY -bechloe -TOP GAYS, i actually think all the bellas are a bit gay like the gayest shit - I wanna be the guy that edits films just so I can make everything seem gay -bechloe -Hailee steinfeld -anna kendrick -flula -I HAVE DECIDED THAT EMILY IS BECA’S ADOPTED ACA-DAUGHTER AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME  -that was so gay

-brittany snow -hailee -kendrick -damn all the girls are hot - ‘I wish I experimented more’ beale - ‘your sweat smells like cinnamon’ mitchell - did beca turn in to anna? -I really want to marry so many people rn

it was at good as the first but it does have a different feel to it, it’s a different director so in a way it is really a different aura surrounding this one compared to the first and i’m okay with it.
