Robbie: What does it matter if I'm right about myself if everyone besides you think I'm wrong? Two wrongs make a right, so what do hundreds of wrongs make?

Daffodil: Of course! Although you might need a flute instead, your eyes are a bit larger. Oh, or a view through a tuba, that would be fun, wouldn't it? Or you could just poke out the back of a guitar and see through the strings, that would be beautiful. Then I suppose I'll need to form a band! I hope your lifeline shows you'll be there for all 73 of them.

“I can’t say that she has, but I also can’t say that she hasn’t -- I’ve not been in the know, unfortunately, but hopefully she’ll let you save the show,” Daffodil expressed confidently. “There’s no reason princely duties shouldn’t include the most important language of all, the one that everyone can speak -- well, one of two. I suppose I must give math credit where it’s due.” Daffodil hummed thoughtfully, saying, “I’m about 120 days older than I was last I saw you! Can you see the age around my eyes?”

Dylan’s face scrunched up when Daffodil pinched his cheek. “Alright, alright. I get it. I left without really telling anyone I was going. But I’m back. My dad had a tour that he wanted me to go with him on. Kind of a little training session. But it’s over and just in time for summer. Did I miss anything while I was gone?”

“Just in the nick of time, too! The Shrek score is atrocious, at least the parts I’ve tried to play on piccolo. We’re going to be needing you, it’s like you heard the call,” Daffodil hummed happily, glad to see his familiar face once more. “It wasn’t a music tour, was it? You’re not glowing like someone who’s had music lighting up their nights.”

Dylan had spent the last month and a half following his father on one of his tours. The trip was spent getting to become familiar with everything that he would be responsible for when he took the throne. But now, he was back to just having to be a student and he was more than happy about that. The trip back to Walt had left him hungry and sitting at a table at Pizza Planet, he was going to change that. “I’ve missed this,” he said, taking a bite of the pizza. It was a welcomed break from the overly lavish meals that were the norm on the tour - just something simple.

“Am I dreaming?” Daffodil sing-songed as she encountered Dylan. He’d been in her thoughts since the musical had been announced; she must have just dreamed him right back to life. Reaching out, she pinched his cheek, shocked to find real flesh and not air. “Oh! I’m awake?” she asked, too stunned to even sing her words as she stared at him for an explanation.

Robbie: That's true, two wrongs make a right and two downs make an up. And since I drag you or Pippa along with me on most things, why, I could look at the world from any angle and still be me as long as you were looking with me :-P I do like smoking though, kind of, I like that I can smell like the ghost of whatever food I want and the world is so much prettier with blurry, foggy edges. That sounds scary in a beautiful way, omg - I can imagine it so well, I'm just glad you won't hear it for a long long time lol

Robbie: It must be my eyes that are closed, I think. For a long time I thought everyone else just had their eyes closed when they looked at me but if everyone sees something, maybe I'm the one who can't see, you know?

Daffodil: We can also take a kaleidoscope, that reveals so many secrets of the world. At least, so your sister says. I prefer to look at things through my piccolo, it's a bit like a spy glass if you know what you're looking for. One can only hope! My lifeline's quite long, though. And so are all the symphonies in my head, I'll live long enough to write at least 73 of them.

Daffodil: I don't see what they see, so it's not everyone, you know. Just most people. If you don't think they're right, don't let them take your rightness away from you.
