2oul rant because I want to

They only really care about themself. ..and Soul. They’re still working on their identity, and who they really are. Which, hey! What and who is 2oul?

2oul’s preferred name is Ego. Their pronouns are they/them and strictly they/them. Soul is The Soul, which is often serving of others. Ego is The Ego, which is self-serving. Ego is largely egotistical {it’s in the name}, and Soul is distinctly. not.

Okay okay okay. So my version of 2oul is Soul’s other half, of course. They are designed to be a parallel of Soul. While Soul is designed to be a prey animal that’s sharp and scary, to scare others away, Ego is designed to be a predator that’s round and soft, to lure others closer. While Soul doesn’t have an exact source of what he is, Ego is a deer ||not really, but that’s what they’re based off of||. While Soul generally goes by any pronouns, 2oul strictly uses they/them. ||and it/its sometimes. if they want to. another parallel! Soul never perfers use it/its!|| Ego’s whole thing is pretending to be something they’re not, and in that, they’ve found that they prefer to be around Soul, who will always let them be themself. Even if they insult Mind and Heart sometimes.

They were once a “Whole” of their own with Soul, but before all of The Shit happened, they and Soul split apart, and they haven’t been able to become their version of Whole again. The closest they come is in Two Wuv, but it’s not to say they want to be one person again. 2oul much prefers the freedom that comes with being their own being.
