He ran towards the sliding door and unlocked it, only noticing the guest in front of the door after doing so.

"Kanon??!" He cried out, taking a few steps back to allow her to enter.

"Hello, Kiyoi. I take it that you desired...no, needed to see me?"

In fact, Kiyoi didn't, but Kanon just seemed to think such. What an egoist.

"In fact, I'm doing well. How are you?"

'I happened to swing by on my way back from doing some super fun idol stuff, but you weren't in like all the other times I came by.

Unfortunately, Kanon could not answer because Kiyoi wasn't present to talk to! How annoying that Kiyoi needed a response quickly, when he didn't seem to be getting the hang of this "letter" thing. Humans, amirite?

Alas, this bond with Kiyoi was...maybe important? Honestly, Kanon didn't want the poor dear to cry all over her shoes, so she'd go over to the Soyomins pharmacy and tell him personally.

"So, there was stuff that happened in my past that I wanted to forget, especially my breakup. That made me start taking VitAiri along with the Soyomin that I sell. Not only did it help with my issues, but it also made an imaginary friend of mine, Kairi, gain sentience and a physical form on top of being telepathically connected to my head, though she's bound to a world made from my emotions.

Over time, I started to realise that i do miss my ex and wanted to be friends with her again, but Kairi didn't like that, so we got into a little fight..."

He let out a loud sigh.

"I may have regained my lost friendship with my ex, but it came at the cost of potentially losing my new friend."

The pharmacist quickly emerges from the back, his gray hoodie slightly covered with dust.

"You didn't hear anything, right?" He asks while brushing his hoodie with his hands.

Wait, did this person just say they know me from Airi?

What do they want...

"Why yes, I'm Pharmacist Kiyoi. How may I help you?"

"Ah, all I wanted to say was that I've heard nice things about you from her."

Kanon hoped that Kiyoi hadn't heard anything worse.

But, there didn't seem to be anything too strange about him from what Kanon heard. Other than that he liked the colour purple.

"Do you have a problem with that?"

I didn't expect her to say nice things about me, or actually talk about me to other people so soon.

I'm so happy, I could explode.

"No, not at all. In fact, I'm glad that I have another fan before I even debuted (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)."

He looks away from her sheepishly "Uhh, can you pretend you didn't hear that part?"

Why am I a disaster ever since she came in?

The tall blonde rested a finger on her lip, pensively.

"And you're ashamed of it, from what I can see. That's quite..."

Kanon lingered on the word for a while. Pathetic would be in her repertoire usually, but this pharmacist actually seemed to like a bit too much. She knew she promised very well to not use people, but at this point, Kiyoi was asking for it.

Much like a kicked puppy that Kanon might very well want to pet.

"...sad. For a very unjust reason"

"How do you know Vitairi, anyways?" she continued, politely enough.

"I haven't exactly debuted yet, but yeah, I'm an idol. Still got many things to learn though." He blushes and looks down sheepishly.

I really need to get more confident or I'll fumble live.

Upon hearing VitAiri, he immediately snaps out of his embarassed state. "Oh, you see, she did something super bad to a friend of mine, so I went and had a chat with her which resulted in me taking VitAiri.

That brought back my old cheery self, which made me want to befriend her (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠).

I guess you already know how that went~"

"See, you've been drugged. Don't worry about it, she does that a lot."

Kanon said this cheerily. She was in fact the same, and many members of the Kohane pharmacy (and Rumi) could attest to that. It was also one of the cutest things about Vitairi, that taking the light from other's eyes and lives.

"Oh my, that tone! I'm old enough to be your mom!" Kanon joked.

"But it seems like you've extrapolated my relationship with Vitairi already- Good on you. See, I love her very much. That's all"

"Is that what you came for?"

I refuse to believe that she drugged me for malicious reasons.

And since Kairi apparently fell asleep, it's up to me to handle things on my own.

"Yeah. You do sound old enough to be my mom." He half-heartily laughed.

I dunno why, but I feel unsettled when she said that.

She's just joking like Amoris and yet....

Wait... Did she just say she's in love with Airi???

And what's with that last question?????

"Ahh, so you're her lover. That explains why you went and investigated me.

Well, you don't have to worry about me taking her away from you, because I'm sure she loves you as much as you love her."
