hot damn this is so fucking great but the mild perturbation that snake expresses is deeply fucking funny

like you're moisturized, flourishing, in your lane, and this bastard noodly creature from Beyond shows up to flail it's many extraneous appendages around in sheer joy that you exist. and this is a little bit weird so you go to the next aisle over in the grocery store.

Wendy (left) and Mabel (right) are a great example of an Opal versus a Peach Opal, or perhaps a Peach Opal and a Super Peach Opal??

I'm glad I held them both back to observe and compare.

A sincere thanks to those of you who are sharing your snake data. Here's a little taste of what @talesfromtreatment and I have been cooking up, and this isn't even the really interesting stuff! This is only one week's worth of data capture!! Imagine what we could do with even more!

The color changes these guys can go through as they get older are nuts! Navi was a very dark red until she was about 6, I paired her (she reabsorbed, sadly) then she dulled out a bit, and is now regaining some color but it’s a more pinkish orange than the old red she was. Stunning!
