Japanâs Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning of us to 3 feet in islands in Japanâs far south, after a strong earthquake of 6.6 magnitude hit eastern Taiwan Monday. The epicentre of the quake was near Yonaguni Island, near Taiwan. According to the national broadcaster NHK, there was no visible damage in Taipei Taiwanâs capital.Â
