Gumhall Machine

It dispenses laws. And also candy. It cost a lot of extra money to make the candy part work, it was definitely worth it.

This honestly INCREDIBLE statue of @lunasanguismusic's very special rat kiwi, made by @mmeveronica. And for a little special thing, I normally put a medal on, or coat in gold the winning creation, but I felt a picture with the model herself was better fit for this occasion. I genuinely loved everything that was submitted, but I love this creation so much, it'd have felt like a crime to let anything else beat it, I will post another post tomorrow crediting the runner ups, their creations are really great themselves!

Here's a funky fellow I whipped up called "Featherbeard" in Creature, Tribal, and Space versions. Enjoy!

Fun Fact: Most of the feathers of the beard are actually feely fronds, which are sensory organs.

A feeling beard would be a wonderful adaptation I think.

Hey.

I’m not gonna put tags on this. I just kinda wanted to talk about why I keep just disappearing, if you didn’t know, l have a pretty big problem with procrastination, even for things I like, I’m extremely lazy, and while I’m trying to get better, it’s definitely a problem. I’m only really saying this because this is like what? The third time I just sort of went on a random hiatus? And I don’t think it’s fair if I don’t truly address it without any jokes at least once. So essentially, I don’t think this blog is just gonna die, I don’t think I could ever quit and I still just enjoy posting my stupid critters into the world.

I will try to get back into the whole daily thing, but honestly don’t expect much.

A Spore creature I made recently called the Shrobster! I took inspiration primarily from shrimp, lobsters, and ants. Here's it dancing in a top hat:

(Dance animation including camera angles is from the Ramone Kemono's 2nd MMD Drag Ball mod, song is Cinema (self cover) by Ayase. The underwater background produces underwater sounds that muddy the song, but I reaaally wanted this guy dancing underwater!)

This is my "Rodent" :) Her name is Flora. I tried to make her look rabbity, and then I decided to make her into a jackalope hehe :)

Submission for the dailydoseofspore Spore Creation Contest "Rodent"

I present to you, Kiwi Mouse the rat!

Kiwi Mouse is the pet rat of @lunasanguismusic aka @rat-detector-24 who is getting up in the years. She is an icon of the internet to me so I decided to try making her in Spore (2008) and it turned out decently well!

As for the build itself, it's a City Hall that makes liberal use of the connector pieces as well as the CTRL and Shift commands in the building editor.
