I’ve come to the understanding that healing doesn’t always look like getting better. Sometimes it looks more like sickness or getting hurt. Wounds are often our greatest blessings. My mother loves the French language, and she speaks sometimes about how the word blesseur is the root for both the word blessing and the word wound.
