Official Blog Closure Announcement

Figured might as well make a proper send off for this blog as opposed to staying silent indefinitely. Although I loved the entire time I spent working on this blog I am simply not the person to draw daily as seen by my multiple hiatuses and the abandonment of the daily schedule at one point. For the people who stuck around, thank you, although I doubt anyone was dutifully waiting for my return.

The hiatus ain’t be like a year long like last time, more like a month at most but likely less. Reason is that my iPad which I draw all the posts on is shitting itself rn and I need to get a new one lol. There may be like 2 or so posts during this “hiatus” drawn on my phone or traditional.

Why do you draw the AAHW agents with red glasses and red ties combo instead of black ties? /gen. (But you draw the soldat and half mag with black ties??). They look like nexus agents. (Unless that agent was from nexus all along?! /j). If you’re keeping it like that, how would you differentiate a nexus agent?

Ok so this the first time I make a post on here that isn’t the daily doodle however I feel the need to answer this because I’ve gotten this question multiple times and I don’t know how to spin it into the daily doodle/comics.

Short answer is: STUPID HABIT!

I have simply always drawn aahw agents with red ties+shades due to my friend who got into madness first doing so years ago and I simply never stopped. Only reason Jackson (the sole reoccurring agent that has appeared in the posts) has the red tie and shades is because of this and upon me realizing I dubbed it too late to change.

Longer answer / Lore reason in daily grunt:

Differently colored ties, collared shirts, and small accessories are simply the only means of differentiation and self expression that cloned agents get within the aahw, with how little S-3LF they have in the first place it’s all they can really muster. Red ties are common among agents because of the resemblance to the Auditor. For the shades being red that’s just mandatory and all agents get those. Jackson is simply just a case of an agent wearing a red tie, there ain’t nothing special about him. If I were to draw literally any other agent in the base they’d likely have a black tie or possibly a black undershirt. Same applies to other ranks too.
