Loss does not end love in your life.
John green
A lovely sheep in a farm north of dublin.
Pressing into handstand, doing complicated arm balances, and experimenting with deep backbends makes for good social media clips. They are striking, inspiring poses that speak to our aspirations. They are also good interesting things to include in advanced classes. But, let's not get carried away-or become convinced that harder poses always provide more benefits that simple poses. Feel free to experiment and challenge your students, but make sure that your classes are chock full of postures that your students can do with precision and care.
Jason Crandell
You can't rely on how you look to sustain you. What is fundamentally beautiful is compassion, for yourself and those around you.
Lupita Nyon'o
Mindfulness is not a special state you achieve through a trick or technique. It is a way of being.
Jon Kabat-Zinn
And slowly, there may come a point when you think that while you can't change your own destiny, you may be able to help others.
Judith Mangelsdorf
Comparison is the thief of joy.

Flare- part 12
By Mary Oliver When loneliness comes stalking, go into the fields, consider the orderliness of the world. Notice something you have never noticed before, like the tambourine sound of the snow-cricket whose pale green body is no longer than your thumb. Stare hard at the hummingbird, in the summer rain, shaking the water-sparks from its wings. Let grief be your sister, she will whether or no. Rise up from the stump of sorrow, and be green also, like the diligent leaves. A lifetime isn't long enough for the beauty of this world and the responsibilities of your life. Scatter your flowers over the graves, and walk away. Be good-natured and untidy in your exuberance. In the glare of your mind, be modest. And beholden to what is tactile, and thrilling. Live with the beetle, and the wind. This is the dark bread of the poem. This is the dark and nourishing bread of the poem.
I want to be...where the people are.
We are always the same age inside.
Gertrude Stein
If we weren't learning, we wouldn't be here.
Doreen Virtue
People may call what happens at midlife "a crisis," but it's not. It's an unraveling-a time when you feel a desperate pull to the live the life you want to live, not the one you're "supposed" to live. The unraveling is a time when you are challenged by the universe to let go of who you think you are supposed to be and embrace who you are.
Brené Brown
I'm not in competition with anybody but myself. My goal is to beat my last performance.
Celine Dion (Seriously!!)
Balance is not static-it's finding stillness within movement. Suffering is unpleasant, but heralds goodness.
Jason Crandell
The universe is conspiring in every moment to bring me happiness and peace.-Marianne Williamson
