The power of WYSIWYG Technology: Weebly
What the heck is WYSIWYG? To put it simply: What You See Is What You Get. WYSIWYG technology empowers an individual with the tools and ability to create a website almost as if it were a Powepoint or Publisher Document. There are some minor things that you need to learn along the way, such as meta tagging and the like, but nothing that a youtube video or google can't help you with.
Considering the ease of being able to change the way you're online, by having a professional online presence, WYSIWYG creates that transition for you in an extremely simplified process. The fact is that when people say that they are searchable online, the categories of being indexed vary today, ranging from social networks, to linkedin profiles, to yelp/manta pages. Depending on the type of individual and presence you are looking to create online, a website goes hand-in-hand with any of these online profile mediums.
The premier solution in my opinion so far that has provided an array of tools is weebly. Weebly says it best:
"Content elements (like text, photos, maps, and videos) are added to your website by simply dragging & dropping them into place. Text is edited just like in a word processor. Building your website is done in real time, right from within your web browser. There's absolutely nothing to install and no upgrades to worry about." OR in short... "Web Creation Made Easy"
Most importantly its FREEEEE! and they take out all the grunt work that goes alone with putting a website up, including hosting and publishing. And they don't ask for a Credit Card either! oooh!!! They're signup process only involves, Name, Email, & Password.
After making my own site on it, I have to say if you can put together a powerpoint or publisher page, even if it's ugly, then weebly can definitely help you to sharpen those skills and bring out the intricate artist within you. If you're still in doubt, then take a look at the page I put together and see for yourself: Zoheb Zee Patel's Portfolio. I'm open to feedback so don't be shy about commenting.

Given what Weebly has to offer, there are plenty of other WYSIWYG services out there and each service will differ from user to user. Depending on the user's needs, you will need to research the variety and complexity for plugins, extensions, widgets etc... depending on what kind of functionality you expect from your website.
