📚 ASOUE week 👁️ - Favourite Location: Uncle Monty’s manor
asoue week: day one, favorite episode ⋆ the reptile room pt. 2 There are times when the entire world seems wrong. The way a reptile room without any reptiles seems wrong. The way a bookshelf without any books seems wrong. Or a loved one’s house… without the loved one. The Baudelaires weren’t given much time with their Uncle Monty, which seemed wrong. Still, for the first time in a long time, they’d found a place where the world seemed right, if only for a short time. If they had found that once, who’s to say they couldn’t find it again?

↳ “the table of elements does not contain one of the most powerful elements that make up our world, and that is the element of surprise.”
ASoUE Week ⟶ Day 1: Favorite Book (The Slippery Slope)
↳ “A man of my acquaintance once wrote a poem called “The Road Less Traveled”, describing a journey he took through the woods along a path most travelers never used. The poet found that the road less traveled was peaceful but quite lonely, and he was probably a bit nervous as he went along, because if anything happened on the road less traveled, the other travelers would be on the road more frequently traveled and so couldn’t hear him as he cried for help. Sure enough, that poet is dead.”
