He's worried about stepping on flowers. He loves nature.
Wow thanks everyone ;v;
Mini lore snippet lol: at first I just doodled the cat alone in the middle of a page, but I loved him so much I just turned the page and drew the whole thing. He's so great.

the author of Fushigi Yuugi coming out as x gender in 2019 makes so much sense tbh...
unordered list of things that make fushigi yuugi an iconic anime. full of spoilers
its main theme is about the relationship between teenage girls and fiction they project onto in order to cope with and process reality. which seems like it is arguing on one hand that at some point they do have to face the real world and acknowledge their 2D husbandos are just that...
but then it still ends with Miaka's 2D husbando being reincarnated IRL so they can get married. it was the funniest thing i have ever seen.
F in the chat for Yui, Miaka's real world friend who is also the most important driving force of the plot and foil to her, and whose relationship with her is what the whole isekai is meant to reflect. The epilogue does not explore this literally at all.
like there is a heavy implication Yui and Miaka will end up at different high schools because Yui is a better student, and Yui having problems processing this because of some strong possessive feelings; but in the end they just end up at the same high school anyway... along with . the fucjing . 2D husbando
there is a crossdressing genderweird bishie in the emperor's harem who is in love with him. the emperor refuses to take a wife until after they die, and then he marries a woman who looks exactly like them.
don't worry both of these individuals are still also in love with Miaka
the episode where the genderweird bishie dies is basically called "Episode 33: Sorry Nuriko Dies In This One" before the fight even starts.
they are the only one with this treatment btw everyone else just gets killed off one after the other in the last like 5 episodes for no real reason
the obligatory "Old Wise Man" who looks upon the young teenage antics with wisdom and compassion looks like this:

I'm side-eyeing everyone mad about Season 5 of Bridgerton being a lesbian story, but were just obsessing over Heated Rivalry.
I see you and you disgust me
honestly i'm thinking about deactivating my personal instagram. i don't really feel like seeing people from past jobs or people from my past in general, even having them follow me... it bothers me
i just want to be with my friends, in the most literal and figurative sense of the word

The fact that straight people have normalized being miserable and dissatisfied with their lives and relationships and secretly hating their romantic/sexual partners sorta makes it more difficult to realize you're queer
Like "am I miserable because I'm queer or is it normal to hate your boy/girlfriend?.... Well, all the straight people I know keep saying they hate their boy/girlfriends too so it must be normal".
And it also makes the people in straight relationships that *are* happy and chill look and feel weird as hell
very lonely experience growing through your teenage years with the same man-hating rebellious girls who promise that they'll never have husbands and children because they'll be too busy experiencing this world to its core and creating and fulfilling their dreams and then all those dedicated feminists future scientists rock stars and bohemian artists hit 21 find their boyfriends and have no time for anything but him all while you naïvely hanged on to the belief that there is a life outside of hetero marriages only to then be left in that life alone
they thought we were the perfect couple. and so did we.
