Headcanon

When He Tian visits Mo’s place more frequently in the future, Mo’s mum starts to get more familiar with He Tian

She always feeds him until he’s full since he gives the best compliments for her delicious food

Sometimes she even gives him the leftovers in a Tupperware when he goes back home

One freezing December evening, when He Tian is about to leave after he came by to “study”, Mrs Mo wraps one of her son’s thick, warm scarves around his neck and scolds him for not dressing warm enough and He Tian’s heart skips a beat.

Mo who has witnessed the scene and sees the glimpse of sadness underneath He Tian’s smile, tells He Tian to keep the scarf (more like barks at him cause his tsundere ass won’t allow him to speak politely).

He Tian wears the scarf to school up until spring when it’s actually way too hot already to wear one. (Jian Yi makes fun of him but secretly asks Zheng Xi if he has a spare pair of gloves)
