Sardines!

I’ve always loved the packaging on canned fish, particularly sardines. My boyfriend is obsessed with eating sardines though and the olfactory sensation of being exposed to sardines is such a 180 from the fun and intricate details of the packaging! (In my opinion, in my opinion)

My boyfriend has also been watching @cannedfishfiles recently and it’s such an interesting channel. While I want to look away so badly, I can’t help but watch too!

All that to say, I was inspired to doodle up my own can of sardines. I love the way this came out, I had so much fun with it. I often have an idea in my head of how I want something to look, but with this I had a very basic outline and then just let my imagination take over from there.

I’m so excited for my next series! It’s one that I started like 2 years ago and abandoned for no reason in particular. But the muse has hit again and I’m having fun drawing the Monster High Girls.

The Monster High Dolls came a little after the ages that I would’ve played with dolls, but you bet your butt I would’ve been begging for them (ESPECIALLY Cleo) if they had come out a few years earlier. I think they’re so fun and cunty!
