Dai rockin shiro

Surreal handmade collages and transitory improvised sculptures built from junk are the hallmarks of Dai Rockin’ Shiro’s work.  A native of Himeji, Hyogo, Japan, his collage work has been used for album covers, posters and flyers, while his sculptural work has been a feature of music festivals and club events throughout the Kansai region for the last decade. It’s no coincidence that he chooses to feature his work at music events, and that promoters and musicians use his art in connection with theirs.  Music runs deep through his style.  When asked about the inspiration for his art, he cited jazz, punk rock, techno and Morlam music as driving influences. https://www.instagram.com/dai_rockin_shiro
