Jane over the phone worried about Lisbon’s safety. Simon’s acting is perfect in each case, he so masterfully shows how a wave of fear envelops Jane and you can feel how he shudders because he is helpless and cannot see Lisbon or save her. I can never get over the way how in the last scene his expression goes from concern to despair in seconds, light dimming in his eyes as he realizes the woman he loves may no longer be alive.

TM is about perfect acting and aesthetically perfect filming. I love to observe these details in the way the scenes are shot, and through the seasons it feels like more light is shed on Jane and Lisbon, and it’s possible to feel how trust and love are building between them as they get closer.
